TERMS OF SERVICE

These Terms of Service (TOS) govern table reservations, consumption, payment, and basic behavior rules at the Ape Regina restaurant. The TOS are binding for all guests. Lack of knowledge of the TOS does not exempt anyone from complying with its provisions.

Table Reservations

Table reservations are subject to registration.
Registration can be initiated via phone at +36 30 779 7545, online, or via email.
The customer must provide accurate personal information (name, email address, phone number) and billing information as requested by our staff during the registration process.

The management of the customer’s personal data is governed by the Privacy Policy.

The customer is entitled to delete their registration at any time by sending an email to info@aperegina.hu.
The deletion of the registration is subject to proper identification, and the email must be sent from the email address linked to the customer’s account to ensure that the request is made by an authorized individual.

Once the registration is deleted, the customer’s user data will be immediately removed from the system. However, this does not affect the retention of data and documents related to orders already placed, and such data will not be deleted. After the removal, the data cannot be restored.

For reservations involving a certain number of guests, as determined by the Service Provider, the customer must provide their credit card details with a deposit amount of 5000 HUF per person. The online reservation is only valid after providing the credit card information and receiving a confirmation email from the Service Provider’s reservation system.

No monetary transactions will occur on the customer’s bank account unless the customer fails to show up or cancels the reservation within the required timeframe. Cancellations made at least 12 hours before the reserved time are free of charge. For cancellations made within 12 hours of the reserved time, the Service Provider is entitled to charge the deposit amount of 5000 HUF per person.

For groups of over 20 people, reservations can only be made via email, sent to info@aperegina.hu.

For groups exceeding 20 people, the customer is required to pay a deposit to secure the reservation. The reservation becomes valid only after the deposit has been received and confirmed by the Service Provider.

The Service Provider allows the customer to confirm their reservation by paying the full or partial amount of the reservation via online card payment, bank transfer, or in-person payment, at their discretion. This will be formalized through an advance payment invoice or receipt issued to the provided email address.

If the customer wishes to modify the number of guests in the reservation, this can be done up to 48 hours before the reserved time, with a maximum adjustment of 10% of the original number. Otherwise, the Service Provider will only accept a correction of +/- 1 person.

Right of Withdrawal and Reservation Cancellation:

The paid deposit can only be refunded under the conditions outlined below to avoid misuse; in all other cases, refunds cannot be provided.

An exception is made if the deposit cannot be deducted upon departure due to technical issues (e.g., a late bank transfer that has not yet been credited to the restaurant’s account). In such cases, the full balance must be settled at departure.

If unforeseen circumstances prevent the reservation from being honored at the agreed time, the customer must notify the restaurant at least 7 days before the scheduled date. The restaurant will then offer a new date to reschedule the reservation.

In case of timely notification for date modification, the deposit amount will be applied to the new reservation date.

Cancellation Terms and Costs:
  • 7–14 days prior to the reserved date: 50% of the paid amount will be charged.
  • 6–0 days prior to the reserved date: 100% of the paid amount will be charged.

Advance payments transferred from a bank card cannot be converted into cash, account money, or any other cash-substitute payment method. If the reservation is canceled with the restaurant’s agreement but payment has already been made, any refund related to the pre-paid amount will be processed according to the rules of card payments. The Service Provider will hold the table reservation for 15 minutes. If the customer does not notify the restaurant of their delay, the system will automatically cancel the reservation after 15 minutes.
On weekdays during lunch, the Service Provider allows 2 hours for table use, while during dinner and on weekends, the time limit is 2.5 hours. In case of delays, the Service Provider cannot extend the customer’s time at the table. The kitchen closes 1 hour earlier than the restaurant’s closing time.

Payment
  • Split bills are not available for groups of more than 4 people.
  • The Service Provider issues VAT invoices before payment; invoices cannot be issued retroactively.
  • The final bill must be settled immediately on-site after consumption; deferred payment is not possible.
  • After payment, the Service Provider does not accept complaints.
  • The Service Provider includes a mandatory service charge, which the customer is required to pay.
  • The Service Provider reserves the right to adjust prices.
Gift Voucher Purchase:
  • The voucher is valid for 1 year from the date of purchase and is not exchangeable for cash.
  • If a service of lesser value than the voucher’s face value is utilized, the difference will not be refunded in cash.
  • If a service of higher value is utilized, the difference must be paid on-site.
  • The voucher is valid for single use only; once the voucher number is used, it becomes invalid.
  • Expired vouchers cannot be used, and the validity period cannot be extended.
  • The voucher must be presented at payment in either printed or electronic format.
Basic Rules of Conduct:

The Provider does not serve alcoholic beverages to guests under the age of 18 or to intoxicated guests. In cases of damage or theft, the Provider will file an official report with the authorities. The Provider may charge the Customer an additional cleaning fee if the Customer does not behave in a generally acceptable manner, adhering to the rules of restaurant etiquette.

The Provider reserves the right to ask the Customer to leave if they fail to comply with generally expected standards of behavior or disturb other guests.

Allergies and Food Sensitivities:

In cases of severe food sensitivities or allergies, we strongly advise against consuming food at the restaurant. Should the Customer choose to consume food, the Provider assumes no responsibility for allergic reactions triggered by food selected at the Customer’s own discretion.

The Provider ensures that all allergen information is made available to the best of its ability.
